Heads Up!

*This is not a swim for beginners! This an alpine lake environment at nearly 7K’ of altitude. While we anticipate calm conditions on the lake the nature of our mountain environment means anything is possible. Swimmers should be prepared to handle rough waters and cold air temperatures at the start and finish.

Parking is limited at start/finish. Off site parking and shuttle service will be available during the weekend for all Lakefest activities. Swim Lakefest is part of Big Bear’s Lakefest which is an “alternative commute” event encouraging everyone to ride bikes, take Mountain Transit, or ride our free shuttle to and from the event. There should be available parking on Friday for Athlete Welcome Night.
